Product detailed description
Wool & Merino Laundry Gel with Chestnut Extract and Lanolin
Wool, merino and cashmere require slightly different care when washing than regular laundry. That is why we have developed a concentrated laundry gel with horse chestnut extract and lanolin, specially designed for gentle washing of delicate natural fibres.
It effectively removes everyday dirt while also helping to protect and care for the structure of the fibres and preserve their natural softness. The lanolin it contains helps reduce drying and felting of wool and supports its natural protective layer.
The formula also contains ingredients that help eliminate residual odours.
The laundry gel contains no enzymes, optical brighteners or synthetic fragrances. Gentle, enzyme-free detergents are generally more suitable for washing wool. We always recommend following the care instructions provided by the manufacturer of the specific garment.
Suitable for:
✓ Merino wool
✓ Regular wool
✓ Cashmere
✓ Other delicate natural fibres suitable for washing
Why do wool and merino need a special laundry detergent?
Wool, merino and cashmere have a different structure from regular cotton or synthetic materials. When washing, they therefore require gentler treatment, a low temperature and a suitable enzyme-free detergent.
An unsuitable detergent, high temperatures or excessive mechanical stress can contribute to drying, loss of shape or felting of wool fibres.
That is why we have developed a separate formula for wool and merino that combines horse chestnut extract with natural lanolin.
Why does the laundry gel contain lanolin?
Lanolin is a natural component of sheep's wool.
In the laundry gel, it helps care for wool fibres, support their natural protective layer and preserve their softness. At the same time, it helps reduce drying and felting of wool.
That is why it has its place in a detergent designed for washing merino, wool, cashmere and other delicate natural fibres.
And why chestnuts?
As with our other laundry gels, Czech chestnuts are the foundation of this product.
Chestnuts are the common base of our laundry range, but we develop each formula according to the specific needs of the type of laundry.
Children's clothing requires different care from sports textiles, and wool and merino require something different again. That is why we have created a formula for delicate natural fibres with lanolin and without enzymes.
One chestnut base. Different laundry needs.
